It was in the years following the German reunification in 1990 that AGROMEX got into the high-spec redevelopment of period buildings in the cities of Leipzig, Dresden, Erfurt, and East Berlin.

The projects developed by AGROMEX since, which have been concentrated in the East German states and Berlin, include heritage-conserving high-end redevelopments as well as the development and implementation of new property developments.

The experience we gained through the redevelopment of period buildings has steadily enhanced and expanded our competence. It has been over a decade now that AGROMEX completed its first new-build construction projects, and shifted its focus toward the German capital Berlin, where the company set up its second branch office as early as the mid-1990s.

Always one step ahead of the time, AGROMEX has focused its development activities on Berlin’s now trendy districts of Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain and lately Alt-Treptow.

Sensitive to current needs in urban housing and committed to a high quality standard, we always strive to expand our role as principal and property developer. We exploit our extensive experience to ensure that any development project we touch delivers the same impeccable quality standard. By maintaining branch offices in Berlin and Leipzig, and by forming special purpose vehicles for an efficient construction execution on a case to case basis, we create the necessary proximity to the market and ensure the hands-on management of our projects on location. We cover the entire value chain as a one-stop shop. Our maxim is as simple as it is plausible: we build homes as if we were building them for ourselves. The benchmark has been, and will always be, that anything we build would qualify for our proprietary portfolio.

The experience we have gained and our high quality standard explain our lavish attention to detail that you will find in any reference property built by AGROMEX.
